Roman Cieślewicz (* 13. Januar 1930 in Lwów, Polen; † 21. Januar 1996 in Paris) war ein polnisch-französischer Grafiker und Illustrator, Plakatkünstler und Fotograf. Er arbeitete viele Jahre als Illustrator oder Art Director, zum Beispiel für Elle (1965-1969) und die Werbeagentur MAFIA (1969-1972).

before my departure to spain i found this wonderful book (an issue from 1956)  in a sloppy cardboard box right beside my front door. i like the colours on the cover, the skirt and the way how the synopsis is written at the back of the book.
…oh so, i´m happy to be back again!
 

LUIS

today is such a great great day- its LUIS birthday!
i don´t know if its the real day of birth because he´s a really poor little stray from poland but the nice woman from the pound estimated the 30th for sentimental values. as i met him he already answered of the name “Luis”…isn´t it matching? my full name is Ann “Luisa” and we have a lot of other things in common (thankfully not the ears) !
Luis is reeeeally affectionate and he follows me wherever i go. every day. every minute. he always keep me in sight. always.
you can´t imagine the lots of  happiness and love  he gives.  he´s is the most loving thing in the world…HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

yay! i completed my annual tax declaration, the “steuererklärung2008″ and i´m totally sick of that kind of work…now switching to the nice side of work. hopefully!

Paper Tree Notebook

Vor einiger Zeit habe ich hier in München direkt um die Ecke einen wundervollen PAPIERLADEN gefunden und mir dort dieses wunderschöne Notizbuch gekauft…ich habe mich sofort in das Muster und das Papier verliebt! Einige Zeit lag es nun in meinem Regal um die optimale Bestimmung dafür zu finden. Jetzt bin ich mir sicher, Rezepte kommen da rein! Handgeschrieben, eingetippt,  eingeklebt und im Idealfall mit Fotos dazu. Genau wie meine Sketchbooks nur eben mit Anleitungen für köstliche Kuchen und Abendessen!

i ❤ COCOROSIE!  saw them twice. really nice concerts with stunning atmosphere and an overwhelming performance, but i have to admit the music is a matter of taste- quite certain my taste…

munich´s spy magazine asked me if we would like to write an article about haidhausen (the district where we live/work in munich)- about things we love and enjoy…i felt a bit uneasy doing it- talking about my personal likes and dislikes but at the very beginning writing the article, all doubts were gone- i´ve never recognized how deeply i´m in love with this area, the people round the corner, the atmosphere and THE BAKERY- it seems like, i finally feel at home! please, read and enjoy (if you know how to speak german…:D)

ON THE FLY

made a new shirtdesign and we looove it!, especially the technique of the print (it´s a carefully guarded secret ;D)!!!

als waschechte hessen besitzt jeder aus meiner familie dieses kochbuch- auch in reminiszenz an die vortrefflichen kochkünste meiner oma! das buch ist so wunderschön- mit stoffeinband, vergilbtem papier, mit den notizen und unzähligen fettflecken. selbstverständlich sind unglaublich köstliche dinge darin zum nachkochen zu finden- ganz besonders zu empfehlen ist das grüne sosse rezept nach frankfurter art. das schicke ich jedem gerne auf nachfrage zu!
